Garrison Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Garrison, New York.
Garrison Golf Club first opened for play in 1962. The course was designed by Dick Wilson.
This course is very tough to score well on. Water hazards (two ponds and two streams) come into play on four holes.
The signature hole is #14, a 215-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to a peninsula green.
The course is set some 800 feet above the Hudson River with stunning views of the rugged Hudson Highlands terrain as its backdrop, The front nine, with rolling, heavily treed terrain, drops several hundred feet before three uphill holes bring you back to the pro shop. The back nine is set on a shelf among the hills, it's more open and forgiving, but precise shot making is still rewarded, especially on the 17th hole, where the green is positioned among trees, sand, and water.
Championship tees: par-72, 6,497 yards, 72.1 / 134
Middle tees: par-72, 6,170 yards, 70.7 / 132
Forward tees: par-72, 5,041 yards, 69.9 / 124
Closed at the end of the 2021 Golf Season

Beautiful course. great scenery of the NY Hudson Valley and US Military Academy at West Point. Each hole a different challenge. Good staff. Great condition. Playing it well or even so-so feels like an accomplishment
